MIC Electronics gains on entering into pact with NMC

MIC Electronics is currently trading at Rs. 4.59, up by 0.21 points or 4.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 4.38 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4.59 and Rs. 4.17 respectively. So far 65650 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10.51 on 01-Mar-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4.25 on 25-Jan-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5.05 and Rs. 4.37 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 45.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 8.85% while Non-Institutions held 91.15%.

MIC Electronics has entered into and agreement with the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) to replace 69,541 street lights across the city with energy saving LED luminaries. The total cost of the scheme is Rs 202.56 crore which includes finance costs for the agreement period. This is an environment friendly Green Energy project which leads to virtual power generation.

MIC Electronics is a global leader in designing, development and manufacturing of LED video displays, high-end electronic and telecommunication equipment and development of telecom software.
