RARE Enterprises promoter - Rekha Jhunjhunwala, wife of ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, has sold 280,589 shares of Pantaloon Retail in an open market transaction. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 127 aggregating the deal size to Rs 3.56 crore.
Meanwhile, Mavenvest Financial Services purchased 3.24 lakh shares of the retail chain firm for Rs 4.11 crore.
Pantaloon Retail (India) is India’s leading retail chain and part of Indian conglomerate Future Group. It operates retail space spread over 11 million square feet. It has a network of more than 1000 stores across 63 cities in India and has employee strength of 30,000 people.
