Physical Rubber prices extend gains on Friday

Physical Rubber prices extended gains on Friday after the International Rubber Consortium indicated that natural rubber output is expected to decrease in the major producing countries, while firm demand at domestic markets also supported rubber prices' up-move.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 146.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 146/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 143/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 142.50/ kg.
