Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has on March 29, 2023 entered into an agreement to sell 19,35,911 equity shares of Rs 10 each of Next Gen Publishing (Next Gen), representing 16.13% the total paid-up equity share capital of Next Gen. The total consideration for the sale of 19,35,911 equity shares is Rs 1.70 crore. The said transaction is expected to be completed by June 30, 2023.
HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
