In terms of Regulation 30 and other applicable provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended (the ‘SEBI LODR Regulations’), Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers has informed that the Company has entered into a contract with the Ministry of Defence, Government of India for construction of 04 Nos. Next Generation Offshore Patrol Vessels (NGOPV) at an estimated cost of Rs 3,500 crore. The first ship is to be delivered within 44 months from the contract signing date 30 March 2023. The subsequent ships are to be delivered at six months' interval period from the delivery of the previous ship. In this regard, the press release is attached as Annexure-1.
