Physical Rubber prices witnessed some strength on Friday, due to firm demand after ANRPC reported that natural rubber consumption registered a 7.3% year-on-year increase during February, following a 17% decline the month before. Meanwhile, expectations of lower output from the major producing countries also supported the upside.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 149.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to Rs 146.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 146/ kg.
