The consortium of Titagarh Wagons (TWL) and Ramkrishna Forgings (RKFL) (TWL- RKFL Consortium) has received the Letter of Award (LoA) dated April 5, 2023 from the Ministry of Railways, Government of India for Manufacturing and Supply of Forged Wheels under long term agreement under Aatma Nirbhar Bharat. Broad consideration or size of the Order/Contract is Rs 12,226.50 crore.
Titagarh Wagons is the largest private sector manufacturer of railway coaches (EMUs, MEMUs) and the largest wagon maker (other than Railways).
