Gold futures finished lower on Wednesday as the investment appeal of the bullion dampened by the strength in bond yields and dollar. Moreover, bets on continued interest rate hike by Federal Reserve also pressured the yellow metal investments.

Gold futures for June dipped by $12.40 or 0.61% to $2007.30 ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold narrowed by $2.26 or 0.11% to $ 1,992.67 per ounce.
