Physical Rubber prices extended strength on Friday in line with data showed Natural rubber consumption registered a 7.3% YoY increase in February. But, recession and interest rate hike woes in the United States makes global investors uncomfortable and cautious.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 152/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 151.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 150/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 149.50/ kg.
