Chinese and Hong Kong shares declined amid lingering concerns about China’s economic recovery this year. Seoul shares dropped ahead of Q1 GDP data due Tuesday. However, Japanese shares gained slightly ahead to the Bank of Japan monetary policy meeting later this week, the first to be led by new Governor Kazuo Ueda.
