Gold futures finish lower on Wednesday

27 Apr 2023 Evaluate
Gold futures finished lower on Wednesday, due to technical correction after previous session’s above key $2000 finish. However, safe haven appeal amid concerns of US debt ceiling debate in congress and subdued regional bank earnings capped some losses in the yellow metal.

Gold futures for June dips by $8.50 or 0.42% to $1996.00 ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. However, spot gold rose by $10.21 or 0.51% to $1,999.25 per ounce.
