As part of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s ongoing campaigns in poll-bound Karnataka, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi will address four public meetings and hold two mega road shows this weekend.

PM will arrive in Bangalore on the night of May 5 and will hold two roadshows in the city on May 6. PM Modi's first roadshow will cover about 8 km while the other will cover a distance of 30 km. On May 7, PM is also scheduled to address four public meetings in different parts of the state. Earlier, on Tuesday, PM took out a mega roadshow in Kalaburagi city in northern Karnataka. During the roadshow, Modi waved at the enthusiastic crowd that was gathered on both sides of the roads. The people also showered flower petals on him. Modi is also expected to visit Karnataka on the last day of the election campaigning for which preparations are already on.

In a major boost to the BJP’s election campaign in Karnataka, PM Narendra Modi held massive roadshows and public meetings in the poll-bound state over the past few days. The BJP is seeking to retain power in the state. Notably, Karnataka is the only southern state where the BJP is in power. Karnataka will go to polls on May 10 and the votes will be counted on May 13.
