Asian markets settled mixed on Friday tracking overnight fall in Wall Street shares with caution ahead to US jobs report due later in the day that is widely expected to factor into monetary policy, while Los Angeles-based PacWest Bancorp’s move to explore strategic options also deepened fears about the health of US lenders and hit shares of regional banks as well. Trading volumes were thin with holidays in Japanese and South Korean markets. Chinese shares declined after data showed a slower pace of recovery in the country's services sector.
