Physical Rubber prices witnessed some strength on Saturday on back of improved demand from consuming industries, even though reports showing that natural rubber production in the country exceeded 800,000 tons for the first time in a decade.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 155.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 155/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 152.50/ kg.
