Physical Rubber prices witnessed strength on Monday on back of uptick in demand from consuming industries, though reports showing that natural rubber production in the country exceeded 800,000 tons for the first time in a decade.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 156/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 155.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 153/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 152.50/ kg.
