Physical Rubber prices witnessed strength on Wednesday following an improved demand from consuming industries, despite reports that India’s natural rubber output exceeded 800,000 tons for the first time in a decade.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 157.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 156.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 154/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 153.50/ kg.
