Just in: Retail inflation falls to 4.70% in April vs 5.66% in March

The country’s retail inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), decreased to 4.70 per cent in the month of April 2023 as compared to 5.66 per cent in March 2023. Retail inflation in the month of April 2022 stood at 7.79 per cent.
