The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equity while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2783.50 crore against gross sell of Rs 2002.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 781.10 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2688.40 crore with gross sales of Rs 1797.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 891.40 crore in debt.
