PSU OMCs trade higher on the buzz of diesel price hike

All public sector oil marketing companies edged higher on report that diesel prices may be hiked by 40-50 paise per litre from March 15/16. However, petrol prices may be slashed by Rs 1 per litre.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) is currently trading at Rs. 392.70, up by 2.05 points or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 390.65 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 392.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 395.00 and Rs. 388.65 respectively. So far 72,808 shares were traded on the counter.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) is currently trading at Rs. 302.75, up by 2.00 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 300.75 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 300.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 304.00 and Rs. 299.00 respectively. So far 51,911 shares were traded on the counter.

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is currently trading at Rs. 310.60, up by 2.55 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 308.05 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 309.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 311.15 and Rs. 305.75 respectively. So far 26,092 shares were traded on the counter.
