Physical Rubber prices witnessed some weakness on Wednesday due to low industrial demand following looming economic slowdown fears globally. Meanwhile, data showed India’s natural rubber consumption increased to a record high of 13.5 lakh tons, despite imports declining by 3.2% in the 2022-23 financial year.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 158/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 158.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 155.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 156/ kg.
