Physical rubber prices improve further on Tuesday

Physical rubber prices improved further on Tuesday following the firm closing on the commodity futures market.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 163.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 162.50/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 160.50/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs 160/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of April delivery increased to Rs 165.39 compared to its previous closing of Rs 163.78 while May delivery closed at Rs 168.49 compared to its previous closing of Rs 167.15 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
