Just in: Retail inflation falls to 4.25% in May vs 4.70% in April

The country’s retail inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), decreased to 4.25 per cent in the month of May 2023 as compared to 4.70 per cent in April 2023. Retail inflation in the month of May 2022 stood at 7.04 per cent.
