Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Thursday saddled by the tepid demand from industrial consumers. Moreover, projections of 8.3% rise in natural rubber production this year by Rubber Board of India and adequate inventory position fuelled the downward momentum.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 152.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 153/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 150.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 151/ kg.
