Carlsberg India has started production at Som Distilleries & Breweries’ state-of-the-art plant in Odisha, marking a significant milestone in the company's expansion plans. Equipped with advanced technology and a focus on sustainability, the company’s Odisha plant has been designed to meet the highest industry standards while minimizing its environmental footprint.
Earlier, the company had entered into strategic tie-up with Carlsberg India (Carlsberg) a renowned name in the brewing industry for the Odisha plant. Under this strategic tie-up, the company’s state-of-the-art plant in Odisha will be partly utilized to produce a wide range of world-class beverages, including popular brands from Carlsberg India’s portfolio.
Som Distilleries & Breweries is engaged in the business of brewing, fermentation, bottling, canning and blending of beer and Indian made foreign liquor.
