Asian Markets traded mostly lower in early deals of Tuesday, due to risk aversion in the market amid intensified geopolitical tensions over Russia’s mutiny, looming concerns over continued tighter Fed monetary policies and its ramifications over global economic growth. Japan’s Nikkei extended losing streak to fourth straight session in tandem with the negative Wall Street overnight. Profit taking at prevailing levels and weaker local currency yen dulled the index further.

Nikkei 225 down 200.81 points or 0.61% to 32,498.00, Taiwan curtailed by 129.62 points or 0.76% to 16,929.62, , KOSPI diminished by 3.99 points or 0.15% to 2,578.21, Jakarta Composite dipped by 1.31 points or 0.02% to 6,663.36 and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI declined by 1.49 points or 0.11% to 1,388.39

Buking the trend, Straight times up by 12.92 points or 0.41% to 3,202.60, Hang Seng rose by 292.82 points or 1.53% to 19,086.95, and Shanghai climbed by 29.30 points or 0.92% to 3,179.92.
