According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 415.75 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.
FII’s were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 58.35 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 429.41 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 16.92 crore and they also bought stock options to the tune of Rs 27.77 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on September 28, 2011 is 38.19%.
