Asian markets ended higher on Tuesday, tracking overnight gains in Wall Street, and after comments from US Fed officials suggested that the central bank is nearing the end of its rate-hiking cycle. Meanwhile, investors are awaiting June inflation numbers from the US, which will provide additional clues on the interest rate outlook. Chinese and Hong Kong shares gained after the Chinese central bank (People's Bank of China) said it would extend financial support for the beleaguered property sector until end-2024.
