Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Tuesday on account of weak demand from industrial users. Meanwhile, data showing that natural rubber production registered a growth of 8.3% and its consumption increased 9% in the 2022-23 fiscal compared with the previous fiscal.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 154.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 155.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 151.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 152.50/ kg.
