Infosys global internship program, InStep, has bagged the prestigious National Council for Work Experience (NCWE) Award for ‘Work Placement of the Year 2012,’ in the category 'best large organization with over 250 employees (short-term placements)’.
NCWE promotes and supports quality work experience for the betterment of students, organizations and the economy of the UK. The NCWE Awards recognize global businesses that offer outstanding placement opportunities and student / graduate internships with a focus on enhancing employability. Categories in NCWE cover organisations large and small, and all sectors including charities and public sector companies.
Meanwhile, other Shortlisted finalist in this category included BP, PwC, the BBC, Cancer Research UK, and Centrica. The winners were announced during a ceremony at Merchant Taylors' Hall in London by the University of Liverpool's Dr. Paul Redmond, one of the UK's leading experts on graduate employability and president-elect of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services.
