Aditya Birla Nuvo’s business unit - Jaya Shree Textiles is planning to invest Rs 100 crore in order to expand its linen fabrics manufacturing facility at Rishra, West Bengal. The company is expanding the capacity from 7 million meters to 10 million meters, with the increase in demand in the domestic market. For further capacity expansion, the entity has decided to invest Rs 100 crore in next two years.
Jaya Shree Textiles opened its 76th exclusive showroom - Linen Club in Chennai. The company has decided to increase its total exclusive brand outlets from the current 76 to 200 by 2015, four of which will be launched in Tamil Nadu over the next year, each at an investment of Rs 80 lakh.
