Physical rubber prices show mixed trend on Monday

Physical rubber prices showed a mixed trend on Monday following the decline in domestic and international futures.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety lowered to Rs 167/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 167.50/ kg, while RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 165/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of April delivery weakened to Rs 164.30 compared to its previous closing of Rs 167.14, while May delivery closed at Rs 167.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 171.01 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
