Wheat futures trade lower on NCDEX

Wheat futures trade lower on NCDEX due to lack of buying interest and ample stocks. Also, strong production estimates for the current year mainly lowered the prices.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs. 1383.00, down by 0.36% or Rs 5.00 from its previous closing of Rs. 1388.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 5270.00 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs. 1380.00, down by 0.29% or Rs 4.00 from its previous closing of Rs. 1384.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 15700.00 lots on NCDEX.
