Bharti Airtel rises on entering into partnership pact with Nokia

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 282.10, up by 1.45 points or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 280.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 280.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 282.70 and Rs. 277.00 respectively. So far 30,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 370.40 on 25-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 238.50 on 30-Aug-2012.

The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,07,128.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.50% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.46% and 6.04% respectively.  

Bharti Airtel has entered into partnership pact with Nokia to facilitate Airtel’s subscribers in Africa access to value added services such as Nokia Life and Nokia Xpress Browser on their mobile phones.

Nokia Life services, where the information is build to fulfill customer needs in various fields such as education, agriculture, healthcare, livelihood and even spirituality, are delivered as SMS messages to the consumers.
