Physical Rubber prices extend weakness on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Tuesday following sluggish demand and rise in natural rubber output from the major producing belts. Data showed natural rubber production registered a growth of 8.3% during the previous fiscal.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 149.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 150/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 145/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 146/ kg.
