Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Wednesday due to sluggish demand in line with rise in natural rubber output from the major producing belts. Data showed natural rubber production registered a growth of 8.3% during the previous fiscal.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 149/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 149.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 144.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 145/ kg.
