Asian markets ended mixed on Thursday ahead of key US consumer price inflation data due later this week that could provide clues to Federal Reserve's monetary policy path. Seoul shares declined on Wall Street’s fall overnight. Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden signed an executive order that will narrowly prohibit some new US investments in sensitive technology in China. Chinese and Hong Kong shares gained marginally as Chinese deflation data prompts expectations for more stimulus policies.
