V-Guard Industries zooms on achieving net turnover of Rs 1,350.00 crore in FY13

V-Guard Industries is currently trading at Rs. 449.00, up by 11.25 points or 2.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 437.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 440.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 450.75 and Rs. 439.00 respectively. So far 2,825 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 590.50 on 19-Dec-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 180.00 on 25-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 464.50 and Rs. 426.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,340 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.21% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.65% and 19.13% respectively.

V-Guard Industries has achieved net turnover of over Rs 1,350.00 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2013, thereby registering growth of more than 40% over the previous financial year. The sales from new markets outside south India also showed tremendous increase during the period. The upward trend in sales of all products contributed to the increased turn over registered.

V-Guard Industries manufactures a range of products namely voltage stabilizers, pumps, electric water heaters, solar water heaters, cables, UPS, ceiling fans, etc. The company also conducts research and development initiatives for electronic products, electric geysers, electro-mechanical products, electrical wires and solar water heaters.
