JK Cement reports 29% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

JK Cement has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2023 (Q1FY24). 

The company has reported 30.19% fall in its net profit at Rs 126.30 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 180.91 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 21.80% at Rs 2652.88 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 2178.11 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 29.43% fall in its net profit at Rs 113.47 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 160.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 22.16% at Rs 2794.22 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 2287.31 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
