Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Monday followed by sluggish demand against rising supplies at local market. Data showed that natural rubber production registered a growth of 8.3% during the previous fiscal.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 148/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 148.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 143/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143.50/ kg.
