Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has given physical delivery of its Anchor Handling, Towing & Supply Vessel (AHTSV) 'm.v. SCI 05' to its buyer. Earlier in February 2013, the company had taken physical delivery of 120-tonne bollard pull anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) - ‘SCI Urja’ from Cochin Shipyard (CSL).
SCI is the only Indian shipping company operating break-bulk service, international container service, liquid / dry bulk service, offshore service, passenger service, in addition to manning / managing a large number of vessels on behalf of various government departments and organizations.
