Physical Rubber prices witnessed strength on Saturday amidst firm domestic demand, despite rising supplies from major producing belts at physical market. The All India Rubber Industry Association (AIRIA) said natural rubber production is expected to increase 5% in 2023-24, from 8 lakhs metric ton in the previous fiscal.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 145/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 142/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 141/ kg.
