Physical Rubber prices witnessed strength on Monday despite rising supplies from major producing belts at physical market. Meanwhile, the All India Rubber Industry Association (AIRIA) said natural rubber production is expected to increase 5% in 2023-24, from 8 lakhs metric ton in the previous fiscal.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 145.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 145.00/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety was flat at its previous closing of Rs 142/ kg.
