Physical rubber prices remained unchanged on Wednesday. Supply concerns continued to cast its shadow over the market but major consuming industries preferred to stay back keeping a very low profile.

Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 165/ kg and Rs 161.50/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, contract of April delivery improved to Rs 161.80 compared to its previous close of Rs 160.93, while May delivery closed at Rs 163.81 compared to its previous closing of Rs 162.15 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
