Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has contributed an amount of Rs 24.32 crore to Tripura government for building up a world class sports complex and stadium at Badharghat in Agartala. The government of Tripura has undertaken a project of Rs 122 crore to develop a world class sports complex at Badharghat. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, laid the foundation stone of the complex on April 09, 2013 in the presence of ONGC Chairman.
ONGC recently signed a MOU on March 25, 2013 with the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for its Performance Evaluation Parameters and Targets for 2013-14. The MoU 2013-14 has sector-specific targets for production of Crude Oil, Natural Gas and Reserve Accretion. This includes ONGC’s share from Domestic Joint Venture fields/acreages and production of Value-Added Products.
