Physical Rubber prices witnessed strength on Saturday amidst firm demand from industrial users. Although, some gains were capped by rising supplies from major producing belts at physical market. Meanwhile, the All-India Rubber Industry Association said natural rubber production is expected to increase 5% in 2023-24, from 8 lakhs metric ton in the previous fiscal.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 147.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 147/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 144/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143.50/ kg.
