Physical Rubber prices witnessed strength on Monday amidst strong demand from industrial users, despite rising supplies from major producing belts at physical market. Meanwhile, the All-India Rubber Industry Association said natural rubber production is expected to increase 5% in 2023-24, from 8 lakhs metric ton in the previous fiscal.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 148.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 147.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 145/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 144/ kg.
