Asian markets settled mixed on Wednesday amid growing caution over inflation and global economic growth outlook followed by surging crude oil prices. Opec+ heavyweights Saudi Arabia and Russia said that they would extend their voluntary output cuts until the end of the year. Meanwhile, weak services activity in China and slowing eurozone business activity weighed on market sentiments. Japanese shares extended gains as the weakest yen boosted exporters.
