Asian markets ended mixed on Wednesday ahead of key US inflation data due later in the day that could influence the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decisions. Seoul shares ended almost flat following tech selloff on Wall Street overnight led by Apple and Oracle. Japanese shares declined ahead of next week's policy meeting after BoJ Governor Kazuo Ueda signalled an early end to negative interest rates. Japan’s August producer prices came in at 3.2% YoY from 3.6% in the previous reading. Meanwhile, Chinese shares declined even after Chinese property developer Country Garden won approval from its creditors to extend the maturity of one more onshore bond.
