Asian markets settled mostly higher on Friday amid reports that the world's top central banks including the US Federal Reserve might end their tightening campaigns soon. Moreover, strong economic data from the United States and China supported market sentiments. Seoul shares gained with strong Wall Street finish overnight. Japanese shares rose as tech shares lead gains after the strong market debut of SoftBank Group's Arm Holdings. However, Chinese shares slipped even after Chinese policymakers stepped up stimulus measures to support the world's second-largest economy.
