Gold futures trade higher in early deals of Monday

Gold futures traded higher in early deals of Monday, kindled by the weakness in dollar amidst bets of pause in Fed interest rate hike ahead to this week’s monetary policy meeting. The yellow metal for the most active contract registered 0.2% gain for the week.

Gold futures for December delivery rose by $4 or 0.21% to $1950.20 ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold jumped by $5.14 or 0.27% at $1,929.05 per ounce.
